Bingo is a game of simple lottery but is played by multiple players. So you could call it a "Community Lotto".  But it is fun, making it a highly addictive gambling game for people across all age groups. To participate in bingo, you have to buy printed sheets before the commencement of each game. These sheets carry unique sets of numbers, usually 1-75. The numbers are lined up in columns marked B, I, N, G, and O respectively, with 5 random numbers from 1-15 in first column, another 5 random numbers from 16-30 in second column etc.

At the start of the game, the 'caller', a human version of game show host, draws numbered balls from a tombola and calls them out to the participants. Those players who have these numbers on any of their cards (because normally you can play with more than one card at a time), can cross them off with a type of felt pen called a 'dauber'. Today, the bingo caller can call randomly generated numbers or be replaced by a computer program.

 

You have to match the numbers being called to a certain pattern declared before the commencement of the game. This pattern can consist marking all 4 corners of a card or to cover all the numbers, normally called a "Cover-All". The pattern may also be to mark off a whole straight line or various other patterns as the game has various variations. The person who is the first to achieve this pattern calls out “BINGO” and wins a certain percentage of the total stake money, or some other prize, depending on the rules of the game.
While playing online bingo, you must be quick and pay attention if you want to win. As the first player who gets the pattern wins, you may be left behind if you don’t keep pace. This will drastically reduce your chances of winning.
